R35 PATCH: (scroll down for full install)

Download/R35_10-14-08_Patch.exe-- patch created 10/14/08.  This patch will update any R35 (02-27-08 and newer).  10/14-- add offset 1 and offset 2 to interstice type of bin, 9/23--correct tab order again for CE lender 9/22--correct tab order for CE lender qtrly.  9/9--Corrects Lender Assessment calculation of "Assessment Dollars Due" when multiple-quarters are present, also makes Lender Reports respect filter (i.e. filter for quarter), Collection Exam detail page now has selection of "edit" or "new" sequence.  

 

R34 PATCH: (scroll down for full install)  

Download/R34_12-11-07_Patch.exe-- patch created 12/11/07.  This patch will update any R34 (02-22-07 and newer).    

 

To run any patch:

1. Click the link above and then choose "Run" (a brief download progress bar will appear)  

2. You may get warnings from windows, proceed ahead.

3. A dialog will appear "WinZip Self Extractor".  The default path for your update is C:\EHUNI leave this as is and click the "Unzip" button.

4. Now start ExamHand, go to 'Setup', then choose 'Maintain System', then choose 'Update System'.  Click 'Proceed' to update your ehuni database to current specs.

5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 as needed for all copies of ExamHand (i.e. c:\ehuni2, c:\ehuni3, etc.). 

 

BAD PATCHES

THERE WERE BAD PATCHES MADE AVAILABLE BETWEEN 12-06-07 AND 12-10-07. IF YOU INSTALL THE 12-11-07 PATCH ABOVE AND THEN SEE "OPEN TABLES" AND A WHITE BACKGROUND UPON STARTING UNI, YOU NEED TO RUN THE REPAIR BELOW.  RUN IT, THEN RE-RERUN THE 11-21-07 PATCH.  NOTE, IF YOU HAVE TO RUN THE REPAIR PATCH, YOU'LL HAVE TO CHECK YOUR "CURRENT SETTINGS" SCREEN AND CORRECT THE DATE IF NECESSARY.

Download/R34 Repair.exe<--If you have problems with the 12-11-07 patch, run this patch first then re-run the 12-11-07 patch.  Instructions are identical to those above.

 

 

R34 LIST OF PATCHES FROM 2-22-07 THROUGH TODAY

1. Doc Chk list pg right hand columns will 'enter key down'.  check date opened.

2. Doc Chk 'Doc Date' sort now not just for 'Daily In' records.

3. New Doc Chk sort 'Chk Date'

4. Main menu 'Name' 'Search' now has option to update names.

5. New option on 'Client Report' allows generation of pdf report

6. stc.doccode N(10) was dormant now in use to store "pounds vs. units" indicator on document check detail page.  Previously global variable (lbseq) would reset to 1 each time program was started. 08/16/07.   This fix requested by KS for R33 it was done on both R33 and R34.

7. "Clear Column" feature now offers the ability to "Append...rear" and "Append...front".  For example, if contract option month for 3 contracts say "09/04, 10/04, and 11/04".  By using the "Append...rear" feature with "Greg" typed in, the column can be "cleared" such that the columns read "09/04_Greg", 10/04_Greg, and 11/04_Greg".  It gives the user a way to mark useful fields (especially contract option/delivery month) without disturbing the underlying delivery information. 09/04/07.

8, "Save Project" file naming section now allows user to select a pre-set filename suffix such as "MERGE" or type in a "one time only" name in the selection box.  09/06/07.

9. Bins. Totals Page.  New button "Audit" that shows total bin inventory (comingled), capacity and bin count in the entire project.  This makes it easy to see if there has been a change in any bins or to get a quick total count. 09/12/07

10. Idaho Wheat Commission checkoff rate changed from .015 to .02   09/18/07.

11. Wyoming Wheat Commission checkoff established at .01 10/09/07.

12. Reports. Serial WHR report.  Cancel date field is no longer slightly cut off on the extreme right. 10/09/07.

13. Clear Column.  Now offers 2 new options, "remove [V] designation" and "remove [CK] designation".  This allows removal of these codes in subsequent exams after they have been verified 10/22/07

14. Save Project.  Your chosen settings for the checkboxes on this screen: 'SFE', 'Company Name' and 'Label' and the label text itself that you type in or choose, are now all saved by ExamHand. 11/21/07

15. Contracts. Filter Page.  When selecting a 'Contract Number' to filter the maximum number of digits was 6.  That has been expanded to 10. 11/21/07.

16. Contracts. Filter Page. Option Month selection now has From and To fields.  To filter normally simply use the To field to enter the string to filter.  To filter a RANGE of option months enter a beginning option month in the To field in the format MM/YY then enter the ending month of the range in the To field using the format MM/YY also  12-06-07.

17. Contracts. Detail Page. Code entry for 'contract type' now correctly changes the field label between "Issue Date" and "Last Del. Date".  The drop down box for 'contract type' is already is changing this label correctly. 12-06-07.

18. Open Project.  User now has the option to preserve any non-examhand files present in the Inbound folder when a new project is opened (option is available on either 'replace' or 'merge').  Default value is to NOT preserve non-examhand files.  The default is the same way ExamHand has operated previously.  12/11/07.

19. New "Release/Patch/Service Pack" indicator.  Each time a project is saved, ExamHand now records the current release (i.e. R34), patch (i.e. 12/11/07) and service pack (i.e. SP7) on the project.  This is displayed on the Current Settings page.  Note that software's current information is also displayed in the lower left hand corner. 12/11/07

Download/EH R34 Install 02-22-07.ZIP<-- This file is encrypted.  See email notification for password.  Use the full install only when you are updating from R33 (or older).  

 

Instructions: 

1. You must have WinZip 9.0 or better installed to extract the install files.  Go to winzip.com for a free copy of the program.

2. Click the above link to download the zip file onto your desktop.  

3. Unzip these files onto a flash drive, folder, or CD and then run SETUP.EXE to install.  You will be asked for the password when you 'Extract' the files.  Note that Windows will attempt to unzip this file with your password but it will not work.  You MUST have the WinZip program to extract these files. 

4. Once installed start the program.  Notice there is NO SERVICE PACK on this install.  See your individual state's web page for your service pack module and instructions.  Sign in above to access your state's web page.
